Aten, Verl J., Jr. “Butch”, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Thursday, November 16, 2017.  Dear ex-husband of the late Sheila Aten (nee Bayless); beloved father of Saundra McCarter Seman (John Seman), Tammy McCarter and Nicole “Nicki” Aten (Chris)  Doerhoff;  loving grandfather of John “Jay” and Joshua Seman; dear great-grandfather of the late Ayla Marie Seman; dearest brother of Pamela Aten (Steve) Randel and Brady (Lisa) and Guy Aten (Gina Polizzi); our dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many. He was a 50yr. member of the IBEW Local #1.

Services:  Funeral at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., Tuesday, November 21, 11 a.m. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery.  Memorials to Sisters of the Good  Shepherd, 7654 Natural Bridge Road, 63121, appreciated.  Visitation Monday, 4-8 p.m.
