Beloved husband of Barbara Cassity (Frayne-Birnie); dear father of Bryan Cassity; step-father of Laure (Ronald) Vaughn, Patty (John) Schertzer and Lynn Gissy; dear grandfather of Geoffrey, Corinne, Peter and Joshua; brother-in-law to Robert (Judy) Hutchison and Kenneth (Jackie) Frayne; dear uncle of Michael, Jill and Donna; our dear friend.

Jack retired from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch as a newspaper pressman.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., Saturday, March 10, 9:15 a.m. to St. John Catholic Church (Imperial) for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment St. John  Church Cemetery. Memorials to St. John Catholic Church or the charity of your choice appreciated. Visitation Friday, 4-8 p.m.
