May 12, 1959 - December 2, 2025

Nancy Ann Dawson, age 66, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025, surrounded by her loving brothers. She was born on May 12, 1959 to the late Walter R. Dawson and Emma L. Dawson.

Nancy will be remembered for her kindness and warm heart, as well as her many years of dedicated service in food services. She worked at St. John the Baptist and Ursuline Academy, where she took great joy in preparing breakfast and lunch for the children. Nancy cooked from her heart and loved every moment of caring for others through her work.

She cherished time spent with family and friends, especially her nieces, nephew, great-nieces, and great-nephew. Nancy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Nancy is survived by her siblings, Robert J. Dawson and wife Sharon of Affton, MO. and sister Geri K. Melanson and husband William of Southport, NC and Donald J. Dawson and wife JoAnn of Silex, MO. and Nancy is preceded in death by oldest brother Wally Dawson of St. James, MO his wife Judy still resides there.

  1. I am so very sorry for your loss. Nancy was a sweet and kind person, and I’ll always remember all those fun times we had when we were younger.

    Thank you for loving me, Mike, Elizabeth and Michael Jr. Thank you for spoiling me and my family. You spoiled me as a child AND an adult!
    Lori and I spent so much time with you, and this memories will never be erased.
    It was hard for Lori and I to say good-bye and leave that hospital room, but I know in my heart we will see you again.
    That day will be glorious and so exciting!
    I will try to carry on your taco dip, cucumbers, poke cake, and overnight salad! I can’t do the cutting up of the veggies LoL!! Those are definitely my favorites.

  4. I’m so sorry for your loss. We were friends when we were younger and Nancy also babysat for me with both my girls for quite a few years! She was such a kind person. Prayers for your family🙏🏻

  5. Rest in peace Nanny, thanks for all the great childhood memories that were made in the late 80s and 90s while you baby sat me and my cousins (Jennifer, Lindsay, Jaime). I will be keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. Godspeed!

  7. I’m so sorry for your loss. Nancy was my babysitter and our neighbor for many years. A very sweet person with a heart of gold, she was loved by so many. Nancy loved to give back so much more than she got in life. May God bless and keep Nancy and your family.
