(nee Weber) Tuesday September 19, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Thomas H. Ellis; dear mother of Thomas B., John H. “Jack” (Victoria) and Richard C. (Jayne) Ellis; dear grandmother of John II (Julia), Michael, Rich (Amanda), Sarah (Eric), Lauren (Jim), Robbie and Elizabeth (Sam); dear great grandmother of 5; dear sister of John (Shirley) Weber and the late Jane Hatch and friend to many.
Eleanor was a proud member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority and a graduate of William and Mary College, class of 1947. Volunteered at the Missouri Botanical Garden and a member of Webster Groves Garden Club.
Services: Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON Chapel, 10151 Gravois Thursday September 21, 5-8 PM, then taken to Episcopal Church of the Advent (9373 Garber Rd, 63126) Friday for 10:00 AM service. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery (Evansville, IN). In lieu of flowers contributions to Missouri Botanical Garden appreciated.
