Englis, Carmen G.

Carmen G. Englis passed away on October 24, 2019 after a very short battle with cancer. Carmen was born on November 22, 1959, and preceded in death by Jack W. Greig (father), Edna Maxine Ehrhardt (mother), Laverne “Dunk” Greig (uncle), Dorris Greig (aunt), Edward Greig (uncle), and Dale Greig (uncle). She is survived by her daughter, Alexandra “Allie” Englis; partner, Dean Esker; sister, Jacque Greig; aunt, Lucy Greig; Matthew Englis; many loving cousins, and her beloved dogs Tyke and Toby.

 Carmen was born in Phelps County, MO. She spent her childhood on the Greig family farm between St. James & Rolla, where she developed her lifelong love of animals and the outdoors. Carmen lived in Houston and Tyler, Texas; New Orleans, Louisiana; Abu Dhabi, and Singapore. After traveling the world, she returned back to her roots in Missouri in 1992, living in Webster Groves for the last 19 years.

 Carmen worked in the IT field support for Citi Mortgage and most recently, Charter Communications. Her organizational skills and quick wit will be missed by all who knew and worked with her.

 Services: Memorial visitation on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Kutis Affton, 10151 Gravois Rd., St. Louis MO, 63123, 3:00 p.m. until memorial service at 5:00 p.m.   Internment Friday, November 22, 2019 at the Adams Cemetery in Phelps County on Highway F.
