In Loving Memory

Huch, Betty J.

Betty Huch (1932–2023) passed away peacefully on Dec. 22, 2023 at the age of 91. She was born in Meredosia, IL and spent most of her life in St. Louis, MO. Betty was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband James, son and daughter-in-law Bob and Kaye Huch, and sister Shirley Pool. She is survived by her children Cathy (Frank) Brewer, Richard Huch, and Jeanne (Shawn) Ryan. Dear Granny of Ellen (Joe) Bradley, Brian (Gracie) Huch, Scott Huch, and Sophie Ryan. Great Granny to Cora and James Bradley and Henry Huch. Dear Sister of Darlene (David) Spurrier. Aunt, sister-in-law, cousin, and friend to many.

Betty was a woman with many gifts: an accomplished seamstress, talented singer and organist, skilled artist, and an exceptional chef. But most importantly, Betty possessed the ability to make everyone in her life feel special and loved.

In lieu of flowers, donations are kindly requested for Lutheran Senior Services Hospice Care.

SERVICES: Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. Visitation Friday, December 29, from 9-10am with services immediately following at 10am. Internment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
