   Beloved husband of Beverly Jernigan (nee Cooley); dear father of Jeff (Brenda) Jernigan, Julie (Lonnie) Smithey and Jay (Michael) Jernigan; dear grandfather of Nikki, Danny, Kevin, Hannah and Orion; dear son of the late Roy and Alice Jernigan; dear brother of Judy (the late Jack) Meyer, Janice (Gary) Douglas, June Jones, Carla (Frank) Waites and the late Bill, Jim and Dave (surviving Brenda) Jernigan; dear brother-in-law of Pam Slaton; our dear uncle and friend.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd., Thursday, March 30, 1 pm.  Interment J.B. National  Cemetery.  Mr. Jernigan was a member of American Legion Post #37 (St. Louis, MO) and VFW Post #7147 (Cuba, MO).  American  Legion Guard of Honor Service, Wednesday, 7 pm.  Contributions to the Wounded Warrior Foundation or USO appreciated.  Visitation Wednesday, 5-9 pm.
