Klatt, Manfred 79 of Hamburg, Germany passed away peacefully Monday December 15, 2025.
Beloved Husband of Christine Klatt of 42 years, dear father of Katherine Klatt, Kimberly (Christopher) Wuenschel, and Joseph Klatt; dear grandfather of Colton, Lucas Wuenschel and Alexandria Klatt. Preceded in death by father Rudolf Klatt and mother Herta Klatt.
Throughout life Manfred was an avid adventure seeker including spelunking, competitive sailboat racing, SCUBA diving, skiing, and traveling the world with his family, especially cruising which he fell in love with after immigrating to the U.S. on the SS United States as a child. After graduating from the University of Missouri Rolla, Manfred spent nearly 40 years as a civil engineer with the City of St. Louis Water Division.
SERVICES: Visitation will be Thursday 4-8pm at Kutis Affton Chapel (10151 Gravois Road Affton, Missouri 63123), and a brief service Friday at 1:30pm at Kutis Affton before burial at Sunset Memorial Park.
