Patricia Aann Leibner, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, and neighbor, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 after a life marked by love, resilience, and devotion to her family.
Born on July 6, 1945, in Clovis, New Mexico, Patricia spent her early years in Kansas City, Missouri, before her family moved to St. Louis. She graduated from Affton High School in 1963 and went on to attend the University of Missouri-Columbia, earning her degree in Education in 1967.
After graduating from Mizzou, Patricia taught elementary school in the North Kansas City School District before beginning the next chapter of her life as a devoted mother, raising her children and building a warm, loving home.
Patricia married Carl A. Leibner on May 24, 1980, and together they shared 45 years of partnership, devotion, and love. Carl was her steadfast companion, and their life together was filled with laughter, warmth, and unwavering commitment to family.
Born with a determined spirit, Patricia faced life’s challenges with strength, tenacity, and tenderness. She was deeply proud of her children and grandchildren. Patricia’s devotion to family was the heartbeat of her life, and she cherished every moment of connection with those she loved most.
Patricia was a parishioner at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Dardenne Prairie, Missouri.
Patricia is preceded in death by her mother, Anne E. Lehman (Kusick); her father, Robert M. Lehman; her brother, Richard J. Lehman; and her beloved husband; Carl A. Leibner, whose memory she carried with her each day.
She is survived by her children, Callie (Scott) Kuhnert and Rob (Melissa) Atkinson; her grandchildren, Anna Kuhnert and Ava and Isla Atkinson; and her sister, Barbara (John) Mazar.
Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois Rd. 63123 on Tuesday, November 25 from 9:00 am. until Funeral Service time at 10:00 am. Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
