McAlevey, Raymond J. Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Wednesday, March 28, 2018. Born Raymond J. McAlevey on January 12, 1924, in Saint Louis, Missouri, he died peacefully and quietly of natural causes. Preceded in death by his parents, James and Clara  McAlevey, as well as his six  brothers; also preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Audrey K. Venneman McAlevey; dear father of Susan M. Huckfeldt (Jerry), Mark McAlevey, Steven J. McAlevey (Terri); beloved grand-  father of Ryan T. Huckfeldt (Amanda) and Casey I. Lasky (Rob); great-grandfather of Kylar, Vivian, Nolan, and Amelia; dear brother-in-law, cousin, uncle, great-uncle and friend.

Raymond, along with four of his six brothers, served in World War II simultaneously. As a final demonstration of his generous spirit, Raymond donated his body to the Washington University School of Medicine.

Services: A memorial Mass is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 12, at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 4550 Telegraph Road, Saint Louis, Missouri 63129. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the The Saint Louis American Parkinson Disease Association (stlapda.org). A KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY service.
