Roberta McIntosh

In Loving Memory

McIntosh, Roberta (Bobbie) Jean

October 10, 1949 - November 19, 2023

Roberta (Bobbie) Jean McIntosh passed away peacefully the night of November 19, 2023 surrounded by her loving family as she joined God’s Heavenly Kingdom.  She was 74 years old.

She is survived by her loving husband Michael J. McIntosh, daughter Dawn (Clay) Goser, Grandchildren Kaitlyn Naney and Kearsten Naney, sisters Sandra Ives and Bettie (Jim) Williams, brother Ronald Atwell, and sister-in-laws Chris (Gary) Watson and Shari McIntosh. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.   Preceding her in death were her parents, Robert and Velma Atwell, sisters Alice Jacoby and Rita Atwell, brother-in-law Leo Ives, brother-in-law Richard McIntosh and nephew Lucas Randall.

Roberta was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She will be remembered most for her ability to love like Jesus and her unwavering support to all those who were blessed to know her.

Roberta was born in St. Louis, Missouri where she resided most of her life, having a long and successful career in accounting before retiring in her early 50s.  She met her husband Michael as he was getting out of the Army.   They were married on Michael’s birthday in 1970 and enjoyed 53 wonderful years of marriage.   She taught her daughters and granddaughters to always be kind, fair and independent, ensuring they grew up knowing they would be successful at whatever they put their heart and trust in God into.  She was a strong woman of faith and often wrote special poems and prayers to share privately with our Lord or with her family to further illustrate just how much they were loved.

She will be greatly missed by all.  May you rest in peace, Roberta (Bobbie) Jean McIntosh.
