Cheryl Ann Meglio, well known in her professional life as “The Church Lady,” passed away peacefully on December 13th, surrounded by loved ones, at the age of 68 in St Louis, Mo. A woman of profound and devout faith since childhood, Cheryl has joined her Maker in heaven.
Born and raised in the St Louis restaurant family (Luigi’s), Cheryl continued the entrepreneurial spirit with her own realty brokerage. She dedicated her life to ministering her love of God and His way, a calling she pursued actively even in her final days. She specialized in connecting pastors with their new church homes, a unique ministry where her professional real estate skills intersected beautifully with her faith.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Luca and Sylvia (Wilde) Meglio.
She is survived by her devoted life partner, Pat Gates, loving sisters, Jeannine (Michael) Clemons and Geralyn (Karl) Akers. She was a loving and proud aunt, great-aunt, and cousin to all of her extended family.

Visitation will be at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL (10151 Gravois Rd., 63123) on Friday, December 26th, 5:00 – 8:00 PM.
Funeral at Kutis Affton on Saturday, December 27th, at 10:00 AM. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
