Meierhoff, Ella Laura
asleep in Jesus, Monday, July 3, 2017. Ella was born in Maxwell, Texas, December 18, 1919, the daughter of Herman and Meta Schroeder. Ella was preceded in death by her daughter Leellyn (Richard) Mintzlaff and her husband of 56 years, Leo. She is survived by her son Murray (Linda) Meierhoff, son-in-law Richard Mintzlaff, granddaughters Richell and Danielle Mintzlaff, Laura (Andrew) McGuire and Susan (Aaron) Giraudo; and great-grandchildren Nora and Elliot Giraudo and Benjamin McGuire. Ella enjoyed sewing and ceramics and was an avid quilter and gardener. “It has been a wonderful journey.”
Services: Visitation Thursday, July 6, 4 to 8 PM, at Kutis Funeral Home in Affton; funeral Friday, July 7, 9:30 AM at Kutis in Affton. Interment J.B. National Cemetery.
