Beloved husband of the late Kay Linda Meyer (nee Schoenberger); devoted father of Coreen (David) Jander and the late Kevin and Jeff Meyer; adoring grandfather of Seth, Elizabeth, and Luke Jander; dearest son of the late George and Ethel Meyer; our dear uncle, great uncle, brother-in-law, cousin, and friend to many.
He was a warrior and a rock for those who leaned on him. A follower of the one true Lord, his faith served as a steady anchor throughout his life.
He loved people openly — offering affection freely and speaking words of care without hesitation. To many, he was a brother and a father in spirit, extending his support far beyond the bounds of family lines. He felt most at peace outdoors, taking in the beauty of God’s creation with joy. His presence brought warmth and a touch of silliness wherever he went, and his unwavering devotion to his wife and family remained one of the greatest joys of his life.
SERVICES: Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL (10151 Gravois Rd., 63123) on Tuesday, December 2nd from 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM with funeral service to begin at 11:00 AM. Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
