Bob was born October 3, 1931 in Chicago Illinois and moved as an young child to St. Louis. He grew up in South St. Louis and attended St. Agnus grade school where he served as an altar boy at every 6:00 mass until he was 18. He attended CBC high school and St. Louis University where he was a business major. After college after a brief stint at Burroughs Corporation, he served in the Air Force and was stationed in Cheyenne Wyoming. During his time in the Air Force, he met and married Marlene. After his term in the Air Force was complete he settled back in St. Louis with Marlene and their growing family. He started back again with Burroughs/Unisys and worked his way up to regional sales manager until his retirement at age 55. He started his second career as a stock broker which he continued for the next 20 years. He was a professional musician which helped pay for his college and continued playing professionally well into his 70’s. He enjoyed playing the accordion, working on or helping others with projects around the house, gathering with family on the weekends.
