Kurt Novak passed away peacefully at his home the evening of Friday, February 27, 2026. He was 93.
He was born on March 27, 1932 in Petrovice Czechoslovakia to his loving parents the late Oskar and Martha (Sterikova) Novak. Dearest brother to the late Horst Novak and the late Giesela Novak. Later in life, he was a loving companion to the late Helen Harl.
Kurt was full of life and at age 18 left home, traveling the world making stops in Australia and Canada. He was gifted as a carpenter and a blessing to all he came in contact with throughout his work. Kurt settled in the United States in 1959 becoming a U.S. citizen. Kurt began his own carpentry business in 1969, built his own home and serviced various businesses and individuals. Kurt took pride in a “job well done” and believed in a full days work.
Kurt was a great friend to many. He will be missed.
