beloved wife of the late Thomas Peterman Sr. passed away peacefully with
her daughters by her side July 10, 2019. Daughter to the
late Virginia and Robert Kellogg. Loving mother of
Thomas (T.J.) Peterman Jr. (Patricia Peterman), Nettie
Mueth, Michelle Peterman and Christina Peterman. She
was the sister to Ruth Crane (Gale), Pat Devine (Jim), and
Russell Blackard. She was a Grandmother,
Great-Grandmother, Aunt, Great Aunt, cousin and friend.
She worked for Avon for 25 years accomplishing
becoming a Territory Manager and President’s Club
status.
She enjoyed crafts. She designed and made many
flowers, favors, and decorations for family member’s
parties, showers, and weddings. She also enjoyed baking.
She was a room Grandma for her daughter Christina’s
classroom. During that time she made favors and
hundreds of cupcakes for students and staff for
classroom parties.
Family members jokingly called her Mary Jane Wayne
because she loved John Wayne movies and she was strong
willed and fought for what she believed in. Anyone who
knew her knew that if she raised one eyebrow she meant
business.
Some of her favorite things were: The Hallmark Channel,
Twinkies, the color yellow, decorating for holidays,
singing, and going on outings.
One of her famous lines was, “You’re gonna miss me
when I’m gone.” and you know what she was right.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL 10151 Gravois Monday July 15, 11:30 AM. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 3-7 PM.
