Bobbie Hicks

In Loving Memory

Pilgram, Bobbie M. (nee Ferguson)

April 15, 1930 - January 2, 2026

Bobbie Mae Pilgram, known as “Aunt Bobbie”, was born on April 15th, 1930, and sadly passed away on January 2nd, 2026 at age 95. She was born to Lillian and Robert Ferguson, along with her brother Robert (Helen), often referred to as “Bud”. She was married to the late Ted Pilgram, she has two step-daughters De Lynn Klosterhoff and Gail Kipp, with one step-granddaughter Jennifer Kipp. Other immediate family members include nieces and nephews; The late Sharon Fitzgerald (Mike), The Late Buzzy Ferguson, and survived by Bobbie Gene Hicks (Bob). She is survived by many Great nieces and nephews including Holly (Joe), BJ (Shawn), and Todd (Crystal). Great great nieces and nephews include Christian, Hanna, Mikey, Lucas, Gabby, Lilah, Dylan, Aubree, and Ryker.

Aunt Bobbie was known for being a deeply caring, independent, family-focused woman who always tried her best to show up until she couldn’t anymore, and never failed or forgot to send birthday cards for every person within, and outside, the family. A tour of her house could easily show just how much she cared, with pictures of family members decorating her walls and picture frames.

A huge part of her life consisted of her late best friend and neighbor, Helen. Helen was one of Bobbie’s closest friends for more than sixty years, often accompanying her to the Donut Shop almost every morning for decades. She also had a large social life and adored traveling, with many pictures demonstrating her love for the beach, especially when joined with family and friends.

Not only did she cherish family, friends, and traveling, but as any sensible person does, she also appreciated food. The Donut Shop, which was one of her favorite spots to go, provided her favorite donuts: jelly-filled and cheese-filled danishes. She also enjoyed fried chicken and Shawn’s famous smoked turkey, as well as seeming to demolish chocolate ice cream. Aside from food, Johnny Depp seems to be quite a handsome fellow in her eyes.

Lastly, Aunt Bobbie wished for the entire family to be together, and poured her life and her love into each and every one of us. And as much as she loved, she was also very stubborn, holding “Uncle” Ted to his promise of going to Hawaii, and refusing to peacefully go until everyone had come to visit her.

May Aunt Bobbie rest in peace, knowing that her love for others was unbreakable, and the love we hold for her in our hearts will always stay to comfort us, and pray that she will enjoy her eternal paradise with Jesus in Hawaii Heaven. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mercy Hospice – St. Louis de Greeff Hospice House.

SERVICES: Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL (10151 Gravois Rd., 63123) on Thursday, January 8th, 4:00 – 7:00 PM, with funeral service beginning at 7:00 PM. Private interment at Sunset Memorial Park.
