Rebeck

In Loving Memory

Rebeck, Ann Marie

Ann Marie Rebeck (née Hock), age 57, of O’Fallon, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2026, supported by those who loved her.  Born on November 30, 1968, at RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk, England, Ann was the cherished daughter of the late Arlene Krawiecki Hock and the late Michael Hock. Her childhood in St. Louis was filled with laughter, memories, friendships, and a deep sense of belonging to a community she loved and served throughout her life.

Ann dedicated 37 years of exemplary service as a Medical Technologist at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital. Admired for her remarkable skill, deep compassion, and unwavering commitment, Ann touched countless lives—patients, colleagues, and friends alike. Her colleagues became her second family, and she was always willing to lend a hand, share her knowledge, and support others with warmth and quiet grace. Ann was proud to make a lasting and meaningful difference in the lives of all she cared for, leaving a legacy of excellence, mentorship, and kindness.

Above all, Ann treasured her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Patrick Rebeck, and her beloved sons, Sean Rebeck and Connor Rebeck. Ann’s love extended to Sean’s partner, Grant Freitas; her cherished sister, Maureen Siders, and brother-in-law, Allen Siders; her adored niece, Sydney Siders; late father-in-law, Patrick Rebeck; late mother-in-law Deborah Orrick and sister-in-law, Anya Rebeck. Her family circle was made even richer by the love of her aunts, uncles, cousins, and a multitude of dear friends and colleagues who became family along the way. Ann’s heart was also shared with her two loyal dogs, Katie and Cleo, whose companionship brought her daily joy and comfort.

Ann will be remembered for her steadfast determination—sometimes described as stubborn but always rooted in strength and resilience. She was thoughtful and intentional in all she did, bringing warmth, joy, and unwavering love to every gathering. Ann never missed an opportunity to celebrate, cherishing every moment spent surrounded by those she held dear.

Her legacy is one of love, devotion, strength, and genuine kindness. Ann’s impact will forever live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her spirit remains a guiding light for her family, friends, and the community she so deeply touched.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ann’s life at a wake on Friday, February 27, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kutis Funeral Home – Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois Road, St. Louis.
