Ron W. Sanneman Fortified withthe Sacrements of Holy Mother Church on Saturday, May 31, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Anne C. Sanneman (nee Cozzens) for over 20 years ; loving father of Terri (Mike) Rosso, Nancy Vonderhaar, Patti (Marc) Rosen and the late Steven (survived by Lisa) Sanneman; cherished grandfather of Tricia (Mark), Michael, Matthew (Jenn), Jaime, Christopher (Esther), Victoria, Tyler, Quinlynn and great-grandfather of 11; our dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Ron retired from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Dept. after 30 years of dedication and also was the Chief of the Lakeshire Police Dept. and finally retired after 11 more years of being in Law enforcement. The family of Ron, would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Woodlands of Arnold and Friendship Village Hospice for the love and care he recieved from everyone.

Services: Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. on Wednesday, June 4, 10 a.m. Burial Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Backstoppers Assn. or Alzheimers Assn. appreciated.

  3. I am saddened that I will not be able to attend the services, I have a previous 3 day commitment starting tomorrow that I am unable to cancel. My deepest sympathies to my Uncle’s family, he was a great man and my Godfather. I have great memories that I will cherish forever

  5. Terri, Nancy, and Patti, I’ll always remember your dad as being a very kind man. He and your mom helped convince my parents to have our family join you and some of the other families from the neighborhood on a weekend camping trip, even loaning us some gear, since we hadn’t ever camped before. That was such a fun time! I wish I could attend Ron’s funeral and show my support for you and your families, but unfortunately, I was just in St. Louis a few weeks ago and am now back in Utah where I live. But please know that I’m thinking of you all at this difficult time.

  6. Prayer just said for all who are mourning the loss of this wonderful man. The last time I saw him … at Riverside Diner, he was at a table with a whole group of people and was smiling, enjoying himself and looked great! I’m so sorry for your loss Terri, Nancy and Patty!
