77, died Monday, October 16, 2017, at his home in Sunset Hills, MO. He is survived by his wife Sandra S. Vandiver; his daughter Cynthia, her fiancé Drew, and their daughter Wendy; his son Raymond, his wife Donna, and their son Aaron; his son Robert; his stepdaughter, Angela, her husband Paul, and their children; his stepson Todd, his wife Kay, and their children, his stepson Aaron, and his children; and his sisters, Florence Bechtold and Linda Kempf.

   He was preceded in death by his first-wife Blanche (Crowley); his parents Velma and James Vandiver; and his sister Freda Layton. 

   Services: A funeral service will held November 4th at KUTIS FUNERAL HOME in Affton, MO, at 10:00 a.m. (with visitation  starting at 9:00 a.m.), followed by a graveside service at  Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family  requests donations to be made in Ray’s name to St. Anthony’s at de Greeff Hospice House, 10024 Kennerly Road, St. Louis, MO, 63128.
