Dear Grandpa,
I miss you being my go to guy for advice, inspiration, and guidance to carry on the Wende name. I miss visiting you as a child whenever dad and I would come visit you and repair things around your house. Eating lunch with you during our visits and listing to your stories. As a young adult I miss visiting you at the assitant living facilties just to keep you company and to know that you were okay. I will never forget being by your side all the way to the end of your days and even during those last moments the words you shared with me forever are in my memory. I love you and miss you grandpa and I know you still watch over me and my father as well as the rest of our family. Thank you for the lessons you had taught me, the kindness you had shown me, and the love you have given me that will live on forever..
