Wirth, Walter R., Asleep in Jesus, Thursday, August 9, 2018.  Beloved husband of the late Marie M. Wirth (nee Kramer); dear father of Lori Wirth (Claude Greene) and Stewart (Sandy) Wirth; dear grandfather of Emily (Chad) Regal, Brody and Nathaniel Hammer, Alexandra and Benjamin Wirth; dear great-grandfather of Nickolas, Natalie and Logan Regal; dear brother of Wilbert (Delores) Wirth and Ruth (the late Leonard) Luhrsen; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend. He was well known for his passion and talent for gardening which he put to good use in his own home and in the beautification of his beloved Gethsemane church. He was a long time member of the Gethsemane choir and proud member of the Gethsemane Men’s Club.

Services:  Visitation at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., Tuesday, August 14, 4-8 p.m. Then to  Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 765 Lemay Ferry Rd.,  Wednesday, August 15, for Visitation at 9 a.m. until Service at 10 a.m. Interment J.B. National Cemetery.  Member of  Gethsemane Men’s Club.  Memorial contributions to Gethsemane Lutheran Church, appreciated.
