SHARON DIANE KISER (April 28, 1947 – May 9, 2026)
Sharon Dian Kiser (Vogler/Miller), age 79, passed away on May 8, 2026 at home surrounded by her family in Lemay, MO.
She was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer that metastasized to her liver just 3 weeks prior to her passing. She spent 2 of those weeks in the hospital in terrible pain. She celebrated her 79th birthday in the hospital with a small celebration and lots of photos. After 2 weeks she made the decision to go home on hospice to spend her final days surrounded by family. She passed in her sleep just 5 days later. The family never left her side in those 3 weeks, not even for a minute. They showed her much love.
She was born and raised in Lemay, MO. She attended St. Andrew’s Grade School and graduated from Bishop Du Bourg High School. Sharon kept in touch with a group of girls from St. Andrews and they would go to lunch once a month. These gals rallied around her and showed her much love in her final days.
Over the years she worked at South Side National Bank, Stay at Home Mom (her favorite), 2 Brothers Shoes, Globe Drug Store, Montgomery Ward, Venture, Conagra and she retired from Enterprise. Her favorite thing in life was being a mom, grandma and great grandma. She always enjoyed a bargain and loved American Idol.
She is proceeded in death by her parents Andrew and Dorothy (Schneider) Vogler, her son Todd Richard Miller and her step son Michael Kiser, and is survived by her husband Paul Kiser, brother Ron Vogler (Judy), daughters Diana Lenzner and Shelby Abate (Frank), grandchildren Kayla Ziegler (Jimmy), Frank Abate (Miranda), Cassidy Abate and Abigale Lenzner, great grandchildren Jaxon Ziegler, Jakob Ziegler and Enzo Abate.
Visitation will be held Saturday, May 16 from 1:00 p.m. until the memorial service at 3:00 PM at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. in South County, MO. She will be cremated after the service. There will be a Celebration of Life gathering for her in the coming months.
