Lawrence “Larry” Klein, age 79, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026.
Larry lived a life rooted in faith, family, hard work, and dedication to the things he loved most. He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather and great-grandfather, and a loyal friend to many.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sharon Klein, who passed away on March 26, 2026, as well as his parents, Gilbert and Bernardine Klein.
He is survived by his daughter, Mieka Powell (Darren Sturm), who remained a devoted presence in his life, and daughter, Laura Knight, along with grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends who will forever treasure his memory.
Larry dedicated many years of service to Crescent Electric before enjoying a well-earned retirement. In retirement, he and Sharon embraced their love of travel, exploring Europe and the beauty of the North and Southwest regions of America together, creating countless treasured memories along the way.
A man of strong faith, he was deeply devoted to the Catholic Church and quietly supported many Catholic charities through monthly donations. He was a proud Fourth Degree Honorary Life member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of the NRA.
An avid trap and skeet shooter, Larry earned numerous awards throughout the years and was honored to be featured in Trap & Field magazine. He took pride in the sport, spending many hours cleaning his rifles and carefully reloading his own shells — hobbies he truly enjoyed.
Above all else, he loved his family deeply. He will be remembered for his dedication, quiet strength, steadfast faith, and the many memories shared with those who knew and loved him.
Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort knowing he is reunited once again with the love of his life, Sharon.
