Faszold her late husband; Dear sister of Bob Kurtz (Cheri) and predeceased sisters Joan and Terri; loving mother of Denise Pratt, Eric (Ananda) Faszold; Rebecca (James) Nill, Jennifer (William) Colletta, Stephanie (Johann) Johnson and the late Timothy Brian Faszold; cherished grandmother of Brad (Amanda), Kevin (Natalie) and Mike, Zach (Sheila), Emily, Sam (Alexandra) and Cadence, Jenna (Zack), Trevor (Amber) and Kristin (Joe), Paige (Justin), Bailey (Ryan) and Nicholas (Maria), Chris (Crystal) and Jessica (Jayne); great-grandmother of Blake and Oliver, Asher, Oliver and Henry, Cael, Hazel and Beau, Lincoln, Beks and Linden, Charlotte, Porter and Margaret, Arthur, Becker and River.
Marilyn was a woman of faith who lived a full life. She was adored by family and many friends whom she loved unconditionally. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you for all your love, prayers and continued support through this difficult time.
Services: Visitation will take place Saturday, August 15, 2026, at St. Maragaret Mary Alacoque Church, 4900 Ringer Road, Saint Louis, MO 63129 from 9:00am until time of Funeral Mass 10:00am. Burial will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery and Mausoleum, located at 5239 W. Florissant Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63115. Arrangements by Kutis South County Chapel; In lieu of flowers we welcome donations to Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital
My deepest condolences to Marilyn’s family at this time of loss. I spent countless hours working at both Lemon Tree shops with Marilyn, laughing at her stories and comments, and learning alot about sales and life. There were years when it seemed every time I walked into the house she and my mom were sitting at the kitchen table drinking coffee and laughing. I vividly remember Marilyn and her Aunt Mary Ann (who made my wedding veil) standing behind me straightening and fluffing my wedding dress and veil just before I walked down the aisle. Good memories, all. I know she will be missed greatly.
Marilyn and I were great friends for over 60 years. I especially remember going camping with her and her family. She could get a sweatshirt to last for four days by wearing it forwards and backwards and inside and out. Marilyn will be missed tremendously by me.
I feel very fortunate that I was able to see Marilyn again, as an adult. It had been a long time! I spent a good deal of time in her company as a kid and into my teen years due her & my mom’s great friendship and being business partners; and also due to my friendship with her daughter, Bekki. So many great memories (and many, many laughs!) thru the years of our parents time together; with or without us kids! She will be greatly missed by all who loved her ~
Marilyn was a great friend and super-fun travelling companion. Our weekly breakfasts after mass were on-going for a long time. Marilyn taught me to play bridge and we played in a group for a few years. I, in turn, taught her to play hand -and–foot canasta which made for many fun games together. Her warmth and friendship will always be remembered with love.
I remember Marilyn when she was the matron of honor in my brother and sister-in-law’s wedding. She was a very nice lady. We were all very young back then. She was married to my sister-in-law’s brother. The last time I saw Marilyn was at their funerals. She will be missed by all who knew her. She was a loving wife, mother, family member and friend.
