Donald John Lippold, 92, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2026, surrounded with the love of his family.  Born July 13, 1934, he is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Carol Lippold (nee Reilly). He was the proud father of four children: Donna (Patrick) Larson, Diane (John) Niebling, Elaine (Brad) Lechner and Craig (Sara) Lippold; seven grandchildren: Nicole (Matt) Adams, Patricia Larson, Amelia Lechner, Carson Lippold, Reilly Lechner, Sydney Lippold and Paige Lippold; and two great-grandchildren, Ann and Agnes Adams.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Julia Lippold, and a sister, Gloria Heintz.

He is also survived by two sisters, Janet Stein and Juanita Foster, many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and cousins.

Donald was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a retired employee of Defense Mapping Agency – Aerospace Center.  A loving husband, devoted father and loyal friend, he was always ready to lend a hand to whoever needed it.  He also enjoyed following the St. Louis Cardinals and going to spring training games after he retired.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity.

Services; Funeral from Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry) on Thursday October 15, 2026 9:30AM for 10AM Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 4-8PM
