Toth, Shirley Mae

March 26, 1936 - March 3, 2024

Shirley Toth, a lifelong resident of St. Louis MO, passed away peacefully on March 03, 2024.

She is preceded in death by her parents Harry and Viola (Shepeard) Hahl, her brother’s Harrison Hahl, Richard Hahl, and Charles Hahl. She is survived by her two sons Rob (Mary) Stone and Les (Nam Chu) Toth, two siblings Dorothy Beam and Edward Hahl, two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews.

She was retired for many years, but in her past she worked as a bookkeeper, claims adjuster, and a waitress (to name a few).  She enjoyed working in her flower beds, time with family, and her late pomeranian “Lucky”.

Services: Funeral from Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, on Tuesday, March 12, 10:00am. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery. Visitation Monday 4:00 to 7:00 pm.

  2. I met Shirley on Facebook about 15 or 16 years ago playing Farmville and she quickly became a treasured friend. I’ve missed wishing her a Happy Birthday the last couple years due to my own life complications. I have wonderful memories of her kindness, generosity, and spirit. I worried about her climbing a ladder to clean her gutters. She made a difference in my life and I feel so lucky to have known her. Much love, Shirley, thank you for being you and sharing your light with me.
