Baumgartner-crop

In Loving Memory

Baumgartner, Dorothy J.

Dorothy J Baumgartner passed away on May 28, 2024 at the age of 77 after living a full life doing what she loved surrounded by family and friends. Dorothy spent years of her life inspiring the love of learning and God as a Catholic Elementary Teacher in the City of St Louis. She married the love of her life, Thomas Baumgartner in 1966, who supported and encouraged her to pursue her hobby of art. She spent many years making art of all kinds and friends with similar passions. But none of this compared to the love and adoration she felt for her son Thomas Baumgartner JR (Rebecca) and their four amazing children, Ayla, Ahna, Thomas and Andrea. She spent ours with each of them sharing her knowledge in all subjects and doing late night puzzles.

Dorothy will be missed greatly here on earth but will be welcomed joyously in heaven by Thomas Baumgartner (husband), parents William and Joyce, Grandparents Bailey’s and Shellhammer’s, best friend Donna and many dogs of years past.

Service of Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. Visitation Saturday, June 1 from 12:00 – 2:00 PM.
