Beloved daughter of Patricia and the late Nicholas Ems. Devoted mother of Dawn Glasscock. Dear sister of Mary Beth Ems and Sue/David Kramp. Loved aunt to Anna/Garrett Huck, Lara/Brian Halveland, Cindy Kramp and Kristiana Kramp. Great Aunt to Lucas, Natalia, Helena, Heidi and Holland. Dear cousin to the Adamec families, the DeRousse families, the Huelsing families, the Lile family and the Rieks. Friend to many.
Peggy passed away on 8/13/2024. Beautiful spirit who loved life and her family. She was incredibly devoted to her Catholic faith and very much enjoyed being active in Mary Mother of the Church, where she had volunteered and made many friends. She was an avid reader, painter, writer and loved gardening and music. Peggy loved to help people and would volunteer at area food banks and buy children’s books at thrift stores to give to children in need.
Peg had many illnesses throughout her life and fought through them with her strong faith and sense of humor. She made us laugh with her blunt, tell-it-like-it-is style. She never gave up! She is loved so much and will be greatly missed but we are overjoyed that she is now with Jesus in heaven, enjoying the good life!
We thank all of the Mercy doctors and nurses and Da Vita dialysis center who were so kind in their care for Peggy. A special thanks to her doctors, Dr. Jay Patel and Dr. Gopal Krishnan, who are incredibly talented and were so compassionate with her. Finally, thank you so very much to the church nurses, Libby Long and Michelle Venable, who helped and mentored Peg throughout her life.
Please help us celebrate the life of Peggy Glasscock by wearing bright colors to her memorial service.
Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 9:30 am at Mary Mother of the Church at 5901 Kerth Road, St. Louis, MO 63128 with a Celebratory mass starting at 10:30 am.
