Yahl, Sandra Kay

Sandra Kay Yahl, age 59, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 22, 2019, in her home in Desoto, Missouri.  She was born June 10, 1959, in Selmer, Tennessee to Marshall D. and Freda M. King.  She married Neil Yahl on May 22, 1993 in Kirkwood, Missouri.  She displayed a special knack with antiquing and refinishing furniture.  Sandra had the gift of a green thumb with lovely plants and trees.  Sandra was a devoted and loving wife to Neil, a loving Mother, daughter and sister.  She truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures such as the special bond she had with her many friends and family members as well as her special devotion to her pets.  Sandra had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. She is survived by her, husband, Neil; a son, Christopher J. King of Memphis, Tennessee, a daughter, Stormi Dale, a sister, Cathy Martin (James) of Memphis, Tennessee, a brother, Steve (Donna) of Byhalia, Mississippi, a brother Mike (Dora) of Holland, Michigan, a brother David (Lisa) of Memphis, Tennessee and host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.  Sandra is preceeded in death by her father, Marshall D. King, a son, Michael Preston King and a sister, Rosemary Styers.  A public viewing for all the lives Sandra touched are invited to the Kutis Funeral Home, 10151 Gravois in St. Louis, Missouri, from 3 p.m.-9 p.m. on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, to reminisce, grieve, support each other and, of course, just chat.  A funeral service will be held at Shackelford Funeral Home, 160 West Cypress in Selmer, Tennessee on Saturday, March 2, 2019.  Visitation starts at 11 a.m. and the funeral service at 1 p.m.  Internment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Selmer, Tennessee.
