James Sidney Aubrey (November, 1942 – April, 2021)
Born Nov 1942 in Granite City, IL, Jim peacefully passed away April 2021, attended by his family. He graduated from St. Louis University in 1965 and enjoyed a successful career as a financial analyst for a multinational agricultural biotechnology company.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Ellen (Heth) Aubrey. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Lou (Schaedler), his devoted sons: Stephen (Dorothy) and Douglas (LeAnn), his cherished granddaughter, Olivia, and sisters: Sharon Organ (Gary), and Kathleen Aubrey as well as his best buddies, Labrador Retrievers Jake and Brody.
Jim’s wry sense of humor, infectious laugh, love of dogs, his treasured hummingbirds and banana trees, and love of the St. Louis Cardinals are the living legacies that he leaves to his bereaved.
In remembrance of Jim’s life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to The Fern & Russell F. de Greeff Hospice House.
