In Loving Memory

Lloyd, Joseph Ray (Joe)

In peace, may you leave this shore. In love, may you find the next.

Safe passage on your travels, until our final journey to the ground.

May we meet again.

Your fight is over..

You can be free…

Joseph Ray Lloyd (Joe)

Born 9/18/1949 – Death 02/13/2022

Joe lived and died in the great city of St. Louis, MO, throughout his life he  served 20 years in the Air Force as a  Staff Sergeant, he was a photographer for their newspaper as well as a publicist. The Air Force sent him to many places, among them was Panama Canal, where he lived for four years.  Joe led a fruitful  and peaceful life working different  jobs after retiring from the Air Force,  from a  printing press at Highland supply to a custodian at Convergys , and finally a call in service tech for Starbucks, which he retired after 20 years of service there.

Joe loved scifi and fantasy and could often be found visiting the local comic book shop for the latest issue of  Lady Death and The Walking Dead. He loved paranormal TV shows like The Xfiles and other shows like Star Trek. He loved to read and did so often.

Joe was a quiet man until you got to know him. He liked to tell jokes and horse around.

He was and still is an amazing , proud and even stronger father! An overall  great individual.

He will be greatly missed among a lot of people. But most of all by his son.

Joseph Ray Lloyd  is survived by his two children: George Marcus Lloyd (son)  and Piety O. Kirby (Daughter)

I didn’t see the signs…

A strong wind blew that day…

He found a way out, unfortunate circumstances….

A tilt of the cap and a scream from this darkness…

We will see you again, old soul…

Rest now and we’ll catch up later…

A structure I myself will never have again…

But,you built this son well….

Your hands hurt from the process …

Built to be a successful man…..

Again, rest my beloved old soul. I will catch up with you later…

Condolences
