Bob was born on September 18,1937 in Jake’s Creek/Plad, Missouri to Wiley “Lester” and Margaret Adams. He started school in a one room schoolhouse at Leadmine, MO. From 5th grade on, he went to Tunas School where he graduated high school in 1955.  Bob’s sister, Shirley, introduced him to Nancy Whitworth in an airport in Springfield in 1961.
