Cleo M. Alexander on Thursday August 13, 2026, at the age of 90. Daughter of the late John and the late Cleo Norris (nee, Vincent); dear sister of the late Burke Norris; beloved wife of the late Robert Alexander; devoted mother of Tim (Terri) Alexander, Mike (the late Joan) Alexander, and John (Amy) Alexander; cherished grandmother of Jeremy Alexander, Josh Alexander, Mike (Belinda) Alexander Jr., Kyle Alexander, Katie Alexander, and Kara Alexander; blessed great-grandmother of Miley Alexander; dear aunt, cousin and friend to many.
Cleo was a devoted wife to Robert and a proud mother of her sons Tim, Mike, John and their families. She had many jobs beginning as the lead cafeteria worker at Reavis Elementary School in Affton. Cleo then became a personal banker at Commerce Bank and US Bank for many years. Besides her full-time job, she sold souvenirs at Busch Memorial Stadium and was an usher at Powell Symphony Hall and Stages at Kirkwood Performing Arts Center. She loved cooking, hosting many holiday events, and cherished spending time with her family. Cleo enjoyed traveling, sporting events, gardening, watching movies, and playing games, especially video games on the television. She was caring, thoughtful, fun loving, had a great sense of humor, but most of all was one tough “COOKIE”. She will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, memorial to Parkinsons Foundation.
