Shirley Angus

In Loving Memory

Angus, Shirley Sue (nee Burridge)

Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Sunday July 28, 2024.

Beloved wife of the late Thomas Angus; loving mother of Maggie (Patrick) McManus and Thomas Angus, Jr.; dear grandmother of Grant and Kate McManus, Kennedy and the late Thomas Angus III; dear aunt and friend to many.

Shirley’s Catholic Faith and her family were the most important aspects of her life.  She was involved with her Church including Eucharistic Adoration, volunteering for Fish Fries, Parish Picnics and wherever her help was needed.

Shirley was extremely devoted to her family and was the most loving and caring mother and grandmother.  She was truly an angel here on earth and was one in a million.  She will be missed beyond measure. We know she is with Jesus, and dancing in heaven with her beloved husband, Tom, as well as her grandson, Thomas, her sisters, parents, and friends who have gone before her.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON Chapel 10151 Gravois Friday August 2, 9:45 AM to Seven Holy Founders Catholic Church for 10:00 AM mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 4:00-8:00 PM.

  4. My sympathy to Shirley’s family. I had the honor and privilege to work with Shirley at Provident Couneling when we were both at the Crestwood office. She was a terrific secretary and receptionist; so helpful to my clients and to me.
