Baptized into the hope of Christ’s resurrection,  Thursday, May 18, 2017.

Loving husband of the late Ruth J. Antoon for 68 years; cherished father of Rose Ann (Dean) Overley, the late Philip J. Antoon, MaryAnn Zipf (Lou) Chiodini, Kathy (Mark) Frederickson, Tina (Larry) Blackwell and Janet (Todd) Pratt;  loving grandfather of Thomas (Anna) Zipf,  Brandy (Nick) Sickler, Kate Zipf, Laura (Mike) Sinclair, Katelyn Frederickson,  Connor and Anna Pratt and Nicholas Blackwell; great-grandfather of Lucy,  Haley, Emily and  Vincent Sinclair and Mara Sickler.

Phil considered it a privilege to have served in the U.S. Navy during WW II.  He was proud to have been a St. Louis City Police Officer for 33 years, serving his last 13 years as a Detective Sergeant in Homicide.

Services: Visitation at the Shrine of St. Joseph Catholic Church (N. 11th at Biddle) on Friday, May 26, 10 a.m. until funeral Mass time at 11:00 a.m.  Interment Resurrection Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.  A service of KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL
