In Loving Memory

Archambault, Barbara Ann (nee Kuehner)

Barbara Ann (Kuehner) Archambault, age 67, passed away in the early hours of April 26th 2017 at St. Clare hospital.

She was born on February 8, 1950 and maintained a lifelong residency in Saint Louis, MO.

Barbara is survived by her siblings (Donna, Ed, Lee, and Jim), her granddaughters (Ava and Alyssa), and her sons (Joe, Nick and Alex).  Like her beloved sister Kathy, she fought hard but ultimately succumbed to a late stage cancer but not before positively impacting the many fortunate enough to have had her in their lives.

She had married a St. Louis Police officer named Richard Archambault and tragically lost him when her oldest son of three was only 8 years old.  Despite such tragedies Barbara persevered and empowered others with her strength.

Her selflessness is consistently mentioned by those who knew her closely and in the last few years of her life she was able to retire and spend time watching her granddaughters grow up.  These would be some of her most cherished years.  Her kind and welcoming heart caused those outside of her bloodline to adopt her as a mother or grandmother; it was just in her nature.

She is a testament to accepting adversity and overcoming it. She will be missed, but never forgotten.

Her visitation will be held at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63129 on Saturday, April 29, between 10:00 am and 1:00 PM
