  5. It has been my honor to have know Danny for many years. We have worked so many shows together and had a special friendship. I can’t post our normal greeting to each other in public as it was just something adult we called each other. We would always laugh at it afterwards.
Danny will be sorely missed by all. My deepest condolences to his loving family and other friends.
May the peace that passes all understanding be with us all as we go through this time of Danny’s passing.

  15. I can’t wrap my arms around this just yet. Danny and I bonded instantly when we first met. We took one look at each other and said we would be friends for life…and we were. I will miss hearing your voice on the other headset backstage. Rest in peace and rise in glory.

  33. I had to take a few days to find the strength to write about Danny. He would have laughed at me for it, too. Not in a mean way, because that just wasn’t Danny. He would have laughed with me. Told me not to think too hard about it and just get it done. Being around Danny was just peaceful, happy, and a complete judgement free zone. There are few people who I connect with quickly. Danny managed to wiggle in and situate himself in my heart and that is where he will stay until I can see him again.
It’s rare to meet an angel on Earth, but we all did.
Until I see you again, my friend. I hope your family finds peace during this time, though, knowing you – you’re already there with them, their own guardian angel.

It’s never “goodbye”, it is “We will see each other, again”.

  41. Such a shocking loss. Knowing Danny was involved in a show was a comfort. He was always sweet and kind (even when he was trying to be ferocious), well-organized, and someone who seemed to love seeing others in the spotlight and supporting them. I will miss hearing him yell, “Quiet on set!” and seeing the twinkle in his eye when he was being just a little bit naughty. My sincere condolences to his family.

  45. I am so sorry for your family’s loss. I met Danny only a few times whilst at KTG. He was just the brightest light (including the lights on stage). He outshone everyone everywhere. I hope that reading all these memories/comments will bring you a bit of peace, knowing how many – many people loved and adored Danny.

  47. Danny was happiest off stage meticulously doing everything to help the performers shine, so when it was his official job to welcome the audience before each performance, he was uncomfortable. Someone suggested that he tote me along for company, and he said , “I love Judy, and Judy loves me. Great!”, and that was the start of what we called our “Dog and Pony Shows! We were never sure who was the dog and who was the pony, but we had so much fun! Frank and I shared so many lunches, dinners, parades , high points, and low points with Danny that I just cannot contain the tears. I dearly miss you, my friend but I shall always treasure those memories.
