Avery, Jeffrey Charles

Jeffrey Charles Avery  Wednesday, March 2, 2022  father, brother and friend passed away peacefully at the age of 52.  Born February 13, 1970 to Thomas and Patricia (nee: Betz) Avery of St. Louis.  During Jeff’s lifetime he strived to become a firefighter/paramedic and helped save countless lives.  Jeff will lovingly be remembered by his three boys Dalton (Festus, MO), Austin (Kansas City, MO), Logan (Festus, MO) and his brothers Scott (Jodie) (nee: Driscoll) Avery (Houston, MO) and Kevin (Charleston, SC).  Jeff’s family will cherish the amazing memories made and the bonds built with him.

Services: Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Road Friday, March 11, 4 to 8 pm.  Funeral Saturday 10 am.  Concludes at funeral home.  In lieu of flowers the family set up a fund for Austin and Logan’s college.

  5. I just learned of Jeff’s passing. I am in tears. Jeff was such a supporter of my son Patrick. I was sad when he had the TBI and could no longer be a fireman. He still did respite for Patrick.

    I am sure Patrick was at the gates to great Jeff.

  7. Jeff.. Thank you for being a part of my life and friendship after my near death experience and long number immeasurable tragic events and being able to help each will NEVER be forgotten. I think about the great laughs and encouragement we provided me that things will get better over time not overnight… Thank you for trusting me when many refused
