Thomas E. Bailey was born January 14, 1938, and raised in Vincennes, Indiana, passed Friday, November 15, 2024 in St. Louis, MO. Loving husband of the late Maxine Bailey (nee: Zoll); dear dad of Amy Bach, Wendy (Kevin) Atwood and the late Vincent and Neal Bailey; beloved papa Mary (Kiran), Tommy (Kelsey), Anna (Tim), Stephen (Alex), Rachel (fiance’ Christian), Brian (Dalena), Blake, Grant, Luke, Evelyn and Michael; great papa, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.
After graduating from Central Catholic High School he joined the Marines and was stationed at Camp Pendleton in California. Following his service in the Marines he moved to St. Louis, where he attended radiology school at St. John’s Hospital. While at St John’s, he met his wife Maxine. After working as a X-ray technician for several years, Tom went to work for Union Electric as a pipe fitter retiring after 30 years of service. Tom was an active member of Mary, Mother of the Church serving on parish council, involved with Marriage Encounter, and other community services. He worked hard to provide for his family. In the last years of his life he enjoyed bingo, weekly church services, and lunch with his friends.
Services: Visitation at Mary Mother of the Church 5901 Kerth Road (63128) Saturday, November 23, 10am until funeral Mass 11am. Concludes at church. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to a charity of your choice. Kutis South County Chapel.
