  1. Aunt Sue was a good one – kind, generous, funny, calm. Definitely the most soft-spoken of her sisters. 🙂 I’m so glad my husband and children got to know her. She was a sweet woman, and she will be greatly missed. We love you, Aunt Sue.

  5. Thanks you letting me know about Sue. I have many fond and humorous memories of her during my 6 ½ years at REJIS. She was a strong advocate for “all things REJIS” including the people who worked there. The Russians have “Mother Russia” I thought of her as “Mother REJIS.”

Unfortunately, I have trouble getting around these days so I won’t be attending her Celebration of Life. I wish her God Speed on the next leg of her journey. I hope that when she gets to Heaven the Cardinals are playing in Heaven’s World Series, and are winning!

  9. Sue loved a sundae, anything Cardinals, her sweet pups, a cocktail, and the warm sunshine on her face. A tenacious proofreader and quality control professional…you knew any work assigned would be done with great detail and pride. I smile when I think of Sue enjoying conferences where she could share REJIS products and get out of the confines of the office. Thank you for sharing a small piece of your world with me. The Cardinals should name a seat in her honor for the love she gave them.

  11. I’m so sadden by the loss of Sue. She and I had some of the deepest conversations while working throughout the years at REJIS. We truly had a bond. We respected, honored and trusted one another. Even though we never spoke on the phone after she retired, I would see her from time to time whenever she would visit REJIS and we would talk like we always did. I had been thinking about Sue for the past several weeks, not even knowing that she hadn’t been feeling well and thought to myself, “I’m going to surprise her and give her a call on Thanksgiving day”, but now I can’t 🙁

Let’s not wait to reach out to the one’s we love and care about, life is to short.

    Rest in peace my Friend….

  13. Susan was such a great friend and we had so many wonderful times together. Trips to California and Chicago; lunches almost every work day. Celebrating New Year’s Eve and planning our days as “The Golden Girls”. Watching her shop…” this is sooo cute”. Her trips with Jan to St. Louis to visit me. Our love of dogs. So many memories. She will be missed.

My deepest condolences to “The Baker Girls” and all of her family and friends.

I am consoled that her suffering is over.
