Beloved husband for 36 years of Robyn Jelayne Banaszek (nee Buckman); dear son of the late Paul and Lillian Banaszek; loving brother of Richard (Donna) Banaszek; dear uncle of Tara (Jason) Daming and Ash (Valerie) Banaszek; dear great uncle of Lucille, Gwendolyn and Alexander; dear brother-in-law of Stacey (Sheri) and Mark Buckman.
Ron was a US Air Force veteran and sign painter and graphic designer.
Celebration of life will be held at The Crossing at Fenton (1800 Bowles Ave, Fenton, MO 63026) on Thursday, July 30 from 2-5 pm with service at 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to The Second Chance Ranch Rescue in St. Louis at https://secondchanceranchstl.org/donate because Ron loved dogs. Or the charity of your choice.
Jeff and I will really miss seeing Ron out in his yard. I always enjoyed our conversations when he came in to get his haircut. We are so sorry for your loss Robin. Praying for you on this time off loss.

I had the great pleasure this spring, exchanging text messages w Ron . He sent me a number of photos of his watercolor paintings. He taught himself these skills and like all his interests he really dug in and learned, made beautiful things; photos, painting, love of bicycling, and his yard.
Truly stunning and you would never know he had just learned this amazing skill in the past year. Ron was always so patient with us as Robyn’s long time friendships from junior high. he had a great sense of humor and tolerated all our nonsense.
His passing was so sudden. I will be very sorry to not have those laughs and insights of his remarkable skills.
So sorry for your loss. He was a wonderful man.
Kevin and I always loved being in Ron’s company. His humor was belly aching laugh’s . His talent was amazing! He was so good and so dedicated to everything he tried. He will be missed by many, he was loved by many. He was an incredible, wonderful man. Rest in peace my dear friend.
I recall many times when Ron’s talents surprised me, none more than his recent water colors. I was even prompted to ask him, “are you sure you did these”? Lol
I’m also grateful to have experienced his gardening talents and photography. I will miss him.
Sorry for the loss of your dear Ron. Hope the memories of your epic love story will sustain you until you meet again in heaven! He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed many hobbies, work, and fun times. I really enjoyed the times I got to visit with him at church and at your lovely home.
