On Sunday September 21, 2025. Loving husband of Carol Banes (nee Bellville). Beloved father of Jason (Andrea) and Joshua (Erica) Banes. Cherished grandfather of Chase, Henry, Jack and Stella Banes. Our dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.

Services; A memorial visitation will be held at Peace Lutheran Church (737 Barracksview) on Sat. Oct. 4th from 10Am until time of service at 11AM. Private interment at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations to Siteman Cancer Center, Michael J. Fox Foundation or Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation appreciated.

  3. Mark was a wonderful father and husband. He supported his wife Carol with love and friendship. He was a great friend to everyone who knew him. Our prayers are with the family. May they find peace in his memories.

  4. I was a neighbor of Mark & Carol in the eighties. 2 years ago I reconnected with them but it was unfortunate that it was at funerals of brothers 1 year apart of each other.
    Carol, Jason & Josh I am so sorry for your loss. Mark was one of a kind.

  8. Mark trained me when I was coming out of the military and joined Anheuser-Busch. He had years of wisdom and credibility which he shared with me and propelled my career in the critical first few years. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
