Baxendell, Shirley Ann (nee Reichert)

Age 88, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on December 1, 2023. Born on July 27, 1935, in St. Louis, Shirley was a beloved daughter of Ruth and Edward Reichert.

Shirley had a fulfilling career at Boeing, where she dedicated her time and skills. Her hard work and commitment were evident throughout her professional journey.

In her free time, Shirley enjoyed traveling and spending quality time with her family. She cherished every moment shared with her loved ones, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and joy.

Shirley will be fondly remembered for her kind, fun-loving nature, and her big heart. She touched the lives of many, leaving a positive impact on those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Diane (John) Metzger, her son, Charles Birrittier, her grandchildren, Tricia (Tony) Sinopole, Doug Gourdine, Jason (Cassandra) Birrittier, Jenni Berra, and Greg Berra, as well as her great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Kathie Jared, and her brother, Bob (Julie) Reichert.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Baxendell, her daughter, Sandra Berra, her brother, Wayne Reichert, her grandson, Brad Weckback, and her parents, Ruth and Edward Reichert.

Please join the family in celebrating Shirley’s life at services being held at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. Friday, December 8th at 10:00 AM. Interment Jefferson Barracks. Visitation Thursday, December 7th 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
