Bayles, Viola B (nee Lechner) passed away on March 9, 2024.

Beloved wife of the late George R. Bayles; loving mother of Karen (Thomas Ward) Thompson; dear aunt of Barbara (Steve) Jundt, Carolyn (Ty) Dennison, Steven (Diana) Lechner, Linda (Al) Harrell, Margie (Leroy) Logan, Raymond (Lynn) Blackey, George Blackey, Lynn Gerstner, Judy Gerstner, Tammy Dildine, Sharon Kaye, Louise West and the late Michael Blackey; our dear great-aunt, cousin and friend.

Services: Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, on Friday, March 15, 11:30 am. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Visitation Thursday 4:00 to 7:00 pm.

  2. Aunt Vi was a beautiful lady with a laugh that filled the room. She is the last of our elders to join the Lord which makes sense. She was small but mighty and I will miss her very much. She is now hanging with all of our loved ones that went before her and they are enjoying her laugh again.
