  9. We were always family, and it was a blessing to have known her. A sister-in-law til the end, but a sister in Jesus always. I will miss you greatly and know that you are in paradise and free. Love you my sister Malou.

  17. Marea (Malou to us) was such a bright and beautiful light. I never saw her get angry, even though I’m sure she did, but she was always so positive and looked at the bright side. Her death was a bit of a gut punch even with all of her medical issues she just seemed to kept pushing ahead making one think that she would forever. Even though I haven’t seen her in the last few years she was in my thoughts a lot, like I said, I always thought there would be a tomorrow. I will miss you my dear Malou, you will always be in my heart.

  19. My memories of Marea are mostly from parties & get-togethers. She always brought a fabulous dish (or dishes) and was always very cordial & helpful…ie, the most awesome houseguest! She was one of those amazing women who did so much and made it look easy. My deepest condolences to Shawn and the entire family during this very difficult time.

  23. The world lost a bright spirit that shined around many! Marea was one of the most selfless persons I have had the pleasure of knowing. She gave strength and determination its meaning! She was loved heavily by family, friends and will be sorely missed by many! Thoughts and prayers to the whole family during this difficult time!

    Much love sent,
    Steve and Dana McKean

    Rev21;3,4
They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’[b] or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

5 He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
