Ruby-Becker

In Loving Memory

Becker, Ruby B.

Becker, Ruby B.

(nee Williams) passed peacefully at age 84, on Monday, December 23, 2019 surrounded by loved ones. Ruby was born in St. Louis, MO on September 24, 1935 to the late Donald L. and Estella (nee Mitchell) Williams. She later married her sweetheart Bill Bovaconti and together they welcomed four children who were the most important part of her life. She loved spending time with family and friends along with her love to cook, travel, crochet and the casinos. She didn’t get her driver’s license until her first husband passed away and it was at this time she went to nursing school, received her LPN degree and worked with the elderly for many years. She later married Bud Becker and helped him with operations of the Imperial Bowling Lanes. Ruby is survived by her children: Terry (John) Kennamann of Byrnes Mill, Billy (Dee) Bovaconti of DeSoto, Chris Bovaconti (Brian Gonsalves) of Imperial and Tony (Rachel) Bovaconti of O’Fallon, MO; her grandchildren: Johnny Kennamann, Katie Runyon, Krista Bovaconti, Billy Bovaconti, Brian Bovaconti, Stacey Smith and Tanner Bovaconti; her great-grandchildren: Kaleb, Sam, Lily, Cameron, Cambell, Johanna, Grayson, Malaki, Zahara and Kia along with many family and friends. Preceded in death by two husbands, William “Bill” Bovaconti (father of her children) and Alvin “Bud” Becker, her two brothers Harold Williams and Donald Williams and a grandson, Tyler Bovaconti.

The family would like to thank the BJC Hospice team for their compassionate and attentive care of our mother, with a special heartfelt thank you to her nurse Kristi Mulder and her home health aide Bobbi Holly.
