  1. My condolences to the family. One of the smartest nurses I have ever known. The lives she touch in her nursing career , not only the patients but the nurses too will not be forgotten by those who had the privilege to be by her side. The love she had for her Grandchild unmatched, every shift started with an update on his life. Thankful to have known her.

  2. I will forever owe Christay for bringing my best friend into this world. My favorite part of her life was the twinkle in her eye when Evan entered a room. She would do anything for that little boy, and she did. Always surrounded by a ridiculous number of gifts at his birthday parties, Christmas and all the holidays in between. Numerous sleep overs with the best pancakes in the world! They had a special bond that Evan will cherish forever. She had a great love for dogs of all kinds and for me, that makes person amazing! I didn’t know her as a nurse, but I know she was the best, because her heart was enormous. We will miss you Christay, and all your shenanigans. Love you! KT Jones.

  3. I was a co-worker of Chris at St . Marys on night shift. She was amazing nurse, person and friend. Her and Stephanie are probably celebrating her bday. Sorry for loss. Prayers for comfort 🙏

  4. Hello, everyone! It has been a few years since my grandma passed away. I will always cherish her in my heart. Me and her had the best sleepovers and visits with the best food in the world! She always had really funny shenanigans her whole life, including being oblivious and countless car crashes, which we always laughed and joked how when she crashed her car, she never managed to wreck it. Despite her shenanigans, she always tried to be pretty clean since she was a retired nurse. Even though she fixed everything in her house with hospital tape. I never knew her when she was a nurse, since I was really little. She was definitely a really great one! During her sleepovers, I would always make drawings and comics describing her, including the best one, The Floating Grandma. It describes her being oblivious and floating out the car sunroof. She laughed at all the comics I made and things I said to her. I was a twinkle in her eye, and she was a twinkle in mine. I will love you, grandma! Keep going great distances! We will always remember you!

    Love, Evan Garstang
