In Loving Memory

Bettlach, Frieda Marie (nee Nolle)

January 15, 1934 - April 19, 2026

Frieda Marie Bettlach (nee Nolle) was born on January 15, 1934, and passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at the age of 92.

Frieda was preceded in death by the love of her life for 64 years, Ralph and her parents Richard and Marie (nee Lampe) Nolle and her brothers, Richard and Gerald. Known also as Sis or Aunt Sis she was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mom, mother-in-law, aunt, cousin, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and sister-in-Christ to many.

Frieda’s life was devoted to family, faith/church, fun and service to others. Her talents were many including cooking, baking, hosting family and friend events, gardening, a great game of trivia, service to her church and aways taking care of others. She was a lifelong fan of her beloved St. Louis Cardinals Baseball team. Her love and joy for family and friends was the centerpiece of who she was and she loved everyone. It was her ability to connect with people which made her the go-to when you needed to talk or get some love.

Frieda was a lifelong Lutheran and a decades long member of Salem Lutheran Church/Affton and their Alter Guild. She was a proud graduate of Lutheran High School Central (Lake and Waterman) in St. Louis. The importance of that education was why her children graduated from Lutheran High School South.
She was a devoted wife and took care of Ralph when he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and vascular dementia. She doted on her children/spouses, grandchildren/spouses and great-grandchildren.

Frieda is survived by her children – Russ, Karen and (Bob) Fuerman, Roger and (Cheri); grandchildren – Amanda and (Skyler) Mitchell, Haley and (Will) Streck, Ellie and (Mike) Roth and Sam and (Abby) Bettlach; great-grandchildren – Revan, Walker, Triton, Brooklyn, Liam, Lacey, Landon and Jane.
